Driftwood at the Boardwalk - Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Vacations
A Classic Myrtle Beach Hotel at the Gateway to the Boardwalk
The Driftwood has been a Myrtle Beach vacation destination for over 70 years. Cottages gave way to more modern accommodations years ago, but the personal service that brings guests back year after year has remained the same. The Driftwood is located just a few steps north of the exciting new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Promenade and the Sky Wheel. It is the perfect place to rest and unwind in an uncrowded atmosphere, while at the same time be just steps away from the fun and excitement of downtown Myrtle Beach. The Driftwood offers 90 rooms and various suite layouts, providing accommodations for just about every need.
Banditos Mexican Restaurant is now Open and Right Next Door!
Banditos Mexican Cantina, located on the oceanfront (we are a Myrtle Beach Boardwalk restaurant!) is the newest, coolest, and biggest thing to hit the beach since…well the ocean! Come enjoy good times, great food, and spectacular oceanfront views from our huge outdoor patio deck for lunch, dinner and of course afterhours. Our good times goes way beyond food and views. You’ll also enjoy some of the hottest entertainment and live bands all year long.
From ocean views to full parlor suites, Driftwood Lodge has a room that's perfect for your vacation. Find your room here.
Myrtle Beach Sky Wheel - New for 2011
Check out Sky Wheel Myrtle Beach, located along the newly opened Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, just south of the Driftwood. The giant Ferris wheel stands 18 stories high and includes 42 glass enclosed, temperature controlled gondolas. The landing area includes a full service Jimmy Buffet's Landshark Bar and Grill, an observation deck overlooking the ocean, a gift shop and fantastic evening light shows.
Great Boardwalk Location
The Driftwood is located just steps away from the exciting new 1.2 mile-long Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, which traverses through the sand from the 14th Avenue Pier to 2nd Avenue Pier. More info..
